Dedication Dinner Updates

Art exhibit reception with artist Debora Rolnik Raichman

Beautiful Women's MilvahThe Chabad Lubavitch Center Dedication Dinner will be highlighted by an art exhibit reception with artist Debora Rolnik Raichman.

Deborah's original artwork, "Women's Spirituality", will be among the art pieces on display. The art was used to master an over 10,000 glass tile mosaic above the new Women's Mikvah pool at Mikveh Taharas Yisroel of the Chabad Lubavitch Center.

The art exhibit will also include the ”Hebrew Letters”,  “Creations”, “Ketubot” series by Raichman along with other collages and mixed-media pieces inspired by Deborah’s passion  and dedication for Jewish Culture.

Deborah Rolnik Raichman's paintings are based on traditional sources and aim to remind the modern Jew of our long heritage. Originals and prints will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Chabad Lubavitch of Texas.

Deborah Rolnik Raichman, a Brazilian architect who lives in Houston, blends calligraphy into watercolor paintings as she explores the imagery of the Hebrew alphabet.

West Houston CHAI Friends

Dear CHAI Friends,

On Sunday, December 6, 2009, a milestone event in local Jewish history will take place in Houston.  36 years ago, Chabad began its outreach campaign in the State of Texas with the opening of the Regional Office in Houston. Over the past decades, many outreach centers have been established throughout the State of Texas including our very own CHAI Learning Center. The mission of all of the centers is to transform the world with the spirtual light of the Torah and Mitzvot in the spirit of love/ Ahavat Yisrael.

The Chabad Lubavitch Center Regional Headquarters has expanded and will have its innagural dinner on the 6th of December.

Let me encourage you to join me in attending the Chabad Lubavitch Center Dedication Dinner. Below is their link and information.

Shalom,
