Lubavitch Center hosted a lavish kiddush last month in honor of Rabbi Shimon Lazaroff s 60th birthday on the 5th of Av.
Kiddush-goers were greeted by tables overflowing with lox and schmaltz herring, luscious desserts, and mouthwatering fruits in raised glasses
A surprise visit by some of the Lazaroffs children as well as Stuart Nelkins roast-and-toast made the day even more heartwarming.
Rabbi Lazaroff expresses his appreciation and thanks to the entire community for organizing the special event.
But Stuart ran away before we had a chance to roast him his 60th birthday was on the 25th of Av. Mazel tov, Stuart!
