During the month of Elul...

During the month of Elul, it is traditional to reflect on our actions and attitudes of the previous year, and resolve to correct our shortcomings. During this month, we have our mezuzos and tfillin checked, study more Torah, give additional tzedaka, and enhance our observance of mitzvos.
