Early Childhood Center

The Torah Day School Pre-School program offers a varied and stimulating program for two through four-year-old children. A unique combination of secular and Judaic education through the interrelation of subject material emphasizes Judaism's relevance today. Teachers encourage children to dictate and dramatize their own stories to develop early childhood literacy. Arts, music, dance and drama reinforce knowledge and develop the child's natural expression and appreciation for the arts. Free play, and directed gross motor activities aid in physical development.


Early judaic training includes saying prayers and blessings, learning the Alef-Bet, participating in songs and dances and celebrating Jewish holidays and customs. Children have numerous opportunities to work and play together emphasizing social development.
