Secular Studies
The secular study program includes all academic areas usually taught in a public education setting: language, mathematics, social studies, science, computers and the arts.
The Language Arts Curriculum consists of instruction in reading, writing, spelling, phonics, grammar, creative writing and communications.
Mathematics is presented as a subject representing one of the greatest challenges to intellectual and creative problem solving. A complete computer lab allows each student to advance in the skills and techniques needed to be competitive in today's world of
computer technology. The students are then able to write, edit and produce their own yearbook. The setting of a fully equipped science-lab, enhances the Science program consisting of physical science, oceanography and astronomy, ecology, biology and health. Geography, history, map skills and culture analysis are part of the Social Studies curriculum. In addition, a variety of related field trips help to enrich all programs.
