Once again, Rabbi Faitel Lewin, a sofer from Brooklyn, N.Y., will be available to check mezuzos and tefillin from midday Sunday, Sept. 16, through 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18.
In order to accommodate all those who need items checked, please comment below, as well as the number of mezuzos and pairs of tefillin to be checked.
According to halacha, mezuzos and tefillin should be checked twice every seven years. Some have the custom to inspect them annually.
